The European and International Booksellers Federation (EIBF)

is an international non-profit association registered in Belgium founded in 1968 (initially under the name of GALC - Groupement des Associations de Libraires de la Communauté européenne).

The Members of EBF are the national Booksellers Associations from the 27 Member States of the European Union.
National Booksellers Associations, from other European countries are Associate Members. Through its Members, who in turn represent most individual bookshops in Europe, EBF represents more than 25.000 individual booksellers.

The European Writers Council (EWC)

is an international non-profit association registered in Belgium.
EWC was founded in 1977 as the Federation of European Writers’ Associations.

It represents 120’000 professional writers and literary translators, belonging to 60 authors’ asso-ciations in 32 countries of Europe.

The Federation of European Publishers (FEP)

is an independent, non-commercial umbrella association of book publishers associations in the European Union. FEP represents 26 national associations of book publishers of the European Union and of the European Economic Area.

FEP is the voice of the great majority of publishers in Europe. Founded in 1967, FEP deals with European legislation and advises publishers’ associations on copyright and other legislative issues.
