Jasmin B. Frelih

Jasmin B. Frelih (1986) is an author and translator from Slovenia. His first novel In/Half won the EUPL in 2016 and was since translated into ten languages. His short story collection Tiny Ideologies was published in 2015 and his essay collection Pale Freedom (2018) won the Marjan Rožanc award for best book of essays. His next novel is forthcoming this year from Beletrina publishing house. He lives in Škofja Loka with his partner and their dog.

Tina Bilban

Dr. Tina Bilban (1983) is a literary critic, author, editor and a research associate at the Institute Nova revija. She is president of the Slovenian section of IBBY – International Board on Books for Young People and a member of the executive committee of the Slovene Literary Critics' Association. She works at the crossroads between contemporary philosophy, science and literature. Tina is author of five books, the sixth will be published this year.

Alma Čaušević

Alma Čaušević, B.Sc. in Cultural Studies and B.Sc. in Cultural Anthropology, is a manager in the field of culture. In 2009 and 2010, she worked as an independent researcher in cultural anthropology. In 2010, she participated in the organization and execution of the World Literatures Fabula festival that was carried out in the framework of the World Book Capital Ljubljana. She also served as Executive Producer for Zavod En-Knap during that time. From 2011 to 2013, she was Executive Producer and Assistant Programme Director responsible for the management and implementation of the Maribor 2012 – European Capital of Culture project. Since 2013, she has been employed at Beletrina Academic Press, one of the most ambitious and innovative Slovenian publishing houses, where she is currently serving in the position of Executive CEO. She is also a Council member of Cankarjev dom, the largest cultural establishment in Slovenia.

Renata Zamida

Renata Zamida has been working in the publishing sector since 15 years, mostly in international cooperation, copyright (buying and selling rights), marketing and eBooks. Between 2013 and 2016, she was the Artistic Director of the Fabula International Literary Festival, taking place in Slovenia, as well as board member of the Slovenian Book Fair in Ljubljana, responsible for internationalization, up until 2018. She has worked at the national public body - Slovenian Book Agency (JAK) - from 2016 until December 2020, and was  the Managing Director of the Book Agency (2018-2020), during this time the agency gained two major international event titles for the Slovenian publishing and authors’ scene: “Slovenia, Guest of Honour country at the Bologna Book Fair” in 2022 and “Slovenia, Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair” in 2023. She lectures at various events (book fairs, translators’ workshops etc.) and publishes articles in Slovenia and abroad. 

Ana Geršak

Ana Geršak (1983) has been working as a literary critic and editor for a number of years. She is a contributor to various literary journals, newspapers, web portals and the national radio. She was on the organisational team for the international critics’ symposium coordinated by the Slovene Literary Critics’ Association. In 2011, she received the Stritar Award, which is presented annually by the Slovene Writers’ Association to the most promising literary critic.
