Poetry meet & greet with Maltese writer Immanuel Mifsud, EUPL winner in 2011 (2nd floor room)

Immanuel Mifsud was born in Malta in 1967. He teaches Maltese modern poetry and literary theory at the University of Malta and has published many poetry books, a collection of child stories and a book containing lullabies. His poetic narrative Fl-Isem tal-Missier (u tal-Iben) – In the Name of the Father (and of the Son), published in 2010 and translated in English, won him the EUPL prize in 2011. His poems have been published in various anthologies in the United States and in Europe, such as Les Poètes de la Méditerranée (edited by Eglal Errera, Cultures France/Gallimard).

Immanuel Mifsud will be introduced by Jean Portante and interviewed by Mark Vella.

The initiative is proposed by the Maltese Community in Luxembourg with the support of the Malta Arts Fund.
