Winning Macedonian author Goce Smilevski residing in Brussels

At the invitation of the Brussels literary organisation Het beschrijf, the Macedonian author Goce Smilevski will be residing in Belgium from June 4 until July 2. Goce Smilevski was one of the winning authors of the EU Prize for Literature in 2010.

He will spend four weeks in the heart of Brussels, in the flat of the International House of Literature Passa Porta (see www.passaporta.be). He will be given free accommodation and all the facilities he will need for his work.

A literary evening will be organised on June 6 2012 at 20:00 at Passa Porta, A. Dansaertstraat 46, in order to present the author and the Dutch translation of his latest novel Sestrata na Zigmund Frojd (De zus van Freud, Uitgeverij Ambo/Anthos) to the Belgian public.
