Prague Book Fair: Debate with EUPL winners on May 18th

A Debate with EUPL winners at the Prague Book Fair will be organised by Literature Across Frontiers, the European Platform for Literary Exchange, Translation and Policy Debate.

When? Friday 18 May, from 10 to 10:50 am.
Where? Literary Café, Industrial Palace, Prague Book Fair.

The European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL) was established three years ago to celebrate the diversity of European literary life by selecting emerging writers from around Europe and taking their work beyond national and linguistic borders. Three of the past EUPL winners, Kalin Terziyski (Bulgaria), Rǎzvan Rǎdulescu (Romania) and Tomáš Zmeškal (Czech Republic) talk about how the prize “makes literature travel” and what it means to be translated into other languages.

Moderated by: David Vaughan (Radio Prague and BBC)

Organisers: Literature Across Frontiers, Svět knihy, s.r.o.
In English with Czech simultaneous interpreting.
