A ‘Literary marathon’ took place on 9 June, during the Book World Prague Festival.
A selection of EUPL laureates joined the event, representing the diversity of languages rewarded by the Prize: David Machado (Portugal, 2015), author of ‘Indice Medio de Felicidade’ (Average Happiness Index, Dom Quixote, 2013), Oddný Eir Ævarsdóttir (Iceland, 2014), who won the Prize with ‘Jarðnæði’ (Land of love; plan of ruins, Bjartur, 2011) and Antonis Georgiou (Cyprus, 2016), author of Ένα αλπούμ ιστορίες’ (An Album of Stories, Το Ροδακιό, 2014).
